Jerusalem, 30 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Between June 14-18, a senior professional delegation from Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure visited Germany, during which it toured natural gas storage facilities and associated infrastructure, with the aim of promoting the development of natural gas storage capabilities in Israel.
During the visit, the delegation toured natural gas and fuel storage facilities and related infrastructure, and held a series of professional meetings with leading figures in the field, including infrastructure operators, regulators, and market experts.
The focus of the visit was on promoting Israel’s energy resilience and security, through the development of natural gas and fuel storage infrastructure, strengthening regulatory models, and deepening cooperation with international entities in the field, including the IEA.
“This is another important strategic pillar of the Energy partnership between Israel and Germany, and is the culmination of an ongoing professional process that lasted about three years in the field of natural gas storage,” said The Ministry.
