Two terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre and held hostages surrendered in Gaza.
Jerusalem, 6 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Two terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre and held hostages surrendered in Gaza.
One of the two is a Hamas commander who held innocent captives who have since been released.
The other is a sniper in Hamas’ sniper unit. Both were carrying several knives.
The arrests were made weeks ago during military operations in the Rafah neighborhood of the Gaza Strip.
In a statement from the Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet, a spokesperson said: “During Shin Bet interrogations of the terrorists, valuable intelligence was obtained regarding the location of a significant terrorist infrastructure in the area…
“So far, the 188th Brigade’s combat team under Division 36 has located and destroyed dozens of weapons and terror infrastructures and eliminated dozens of terrorists.
“The IDF and Shin Bet will continue operating against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to protect the citizens of the State of Israel.”
