Jerusalem, 5 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that earlier today (Sunday), forces from its Commando Brigade struck a Hezbollah Terror cell in Lebanon after they identified it operating on motorcycles in the Al-Aqida area, near the security zone where IDF forces are currently operating.
The terrorists’ activity posed a threat to our forces, said the IDF.
The IDF said that, following the identification, the forces carried out a “precise strike” in order to remove the threat.
However, it did not reveal the results of the strike.
