Aprueban plan para 47.000 nuevas viviendas en todo el país

Jerusalem, 30 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The government approved the promotion of approximately 47,000 new housing units across the country and the first declaration of rehabilitation and renewal areas following the war in Gaza in Dimona, Arad, Rehovot and Tel Aviv.

As part of the decision, 18 complexes and announcement amendments were approved, including approximately 22,000 housing units in urban renewal tracks and approximately 25,000 housing units in new construction tracks. The complexes extend from Kiryat Shmona, Shlomi, Nahariya, Karmiel, Tiberias and Rechsim in the north, through Rehovot, Gedera and Beit Shemesh, to Beer Sheva and Ashkelon in the south.
